Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Magnetic Screens Israel (a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit insectscreensisrael.com or buy from us. We handle your information lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981, as significantly amended by Amendment 13, in force since August 2025.

Who is responsible

The party responsible for your information is Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, trading as Magnetic Screens Israel. Our Israel address and our registered address are both in the footer of every page and on the About page. You can reach us about anything on this page at theteam@insectscreensisrael.com.

What we collect and why

Order data. Your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and order contents. We need these to perform the contract with you. We never see or store your full card number: payments go through Stripe or PayPal, who handle card data themselves.

Enquiry data. What you send us through a contact or quote form, so we can answer you.

Analytics data. Only if you consent. See the Cookie Policy for what is set and how to change your mind.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and company law requires. Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted once the matter is closed and there is no longer a reason to keep them.

Who we share it with

Only the parties needed to get your order to you and to run the site: our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), our email provider, our delivery partners, and our hosting and analytics providers. They process your information on our instructions, or as independent controllers where they set their own purposes, as payment providers do. We do not sell your data.

Some of these providers process data outside Israel. Where they do, the transfer is made in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations 5761-2001, which permit transfers to jurisdictions or recipients ensuring an adequate level of protection or under an appropriate undertaking.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Protection Law you have the right to review information held about you in a database (section 13), and to ask for information that is incorrect, incomplete or out of date to be corrected or deleted (section 14). You can withdraw any consent you gave us at any time, with effect from that moment on.

You can also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority (PPA), the Israeli supervisory authority: gov.il, Privacy Protection Authority.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, payment pages are handled by our payment providers, and access to order data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil your order, in line with the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations 5777-2017.
