These Terms & Conditions govern your use of insectscreensisrael.com and any purchase you make from Magnetic Screens Israel (a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, "we", "us" or "our"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Our Israel address and registered address are in the footer of every page and on the About page.

How a contract is formed

The products shown on this site are an invitation to place an order, not a binding offer. Your order is the offer. A contract comes into being when we accept it, which we do by sending you an order confirmation email or by dispatching the goods, whichever happens first. The disclosure duties for a remote sale under the Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981 are met on the product page, at checkout and in your confirmation email.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Israeli new shekels (₪) and include VAT at the applicable rate (currently 18%). Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay: ₪50 flat, or free on orders of ₪150 and over. Payment is taken at checkout by card through Stripe or through PayPal. We do not store your full card details.

If a price is obviously wrong, for example through a typing error, we will tell you before dispatch and you can confirm the corrected price or cancel at no cost.

Cutting a screen to size

Every standard screen is designed to be cut down at home to fit your own opening. Order the size above your measurement. Once you have cut a screen it cannot be returned as unwanted, though your rights over faulty goods are unaffected. Screens made to your quoted measurements are covered separately on the Refunds & Returns page.

Your cancellation right

For a remote sale you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, or of receiving the disclosure document, whichever is later, under the Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981. Where you cancel without the goods being defective, the law permits a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the price or 100 shekels, whichever is lower. Faults and guarantees

Your statutory rights over goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose come from the Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981 and the Sale Law 5728-1968. Nothing in these terms limits those, or any other right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site: no attempting to break into it, no scraping it for a competing catalogue, and no using it for anything unlawful. We may withdraw access if you do.

Our liability

Our liability is set out on the Limited Liability Indemnity page. Nothing there or here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected. We would much rather settle any dispute with you directly, so please contact us first at theteam@insectscreensisrael.com. Consumer protection in Israel is supervised by the Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Authority, and disputes belong to the ordinary Israeli courts, including the small claims court where its limits apply.
